A clockwork orange.

Here again, guys!
well I hope you all had a light, non-stressing comeback. About me.. I'm a little bit stressed. Today I started school and this week I have like 5 exams.. :S I've got over worse times!
But I'm not writting this entry for telling you my life, no. I wanted to tell all of you that yesterday I saw Stanley Kubkick's ''The clockwork orange''. (''La naranja mecánica'' in spanish). In two words: aw-some.

It's so crazy good! I mean, obviously you have to get the message. But no panic! If I did it, you can do it too.
Basically it's a great criticism to people's real face and policy and all his dirty laundry. 'Cause, in my opinion, policy is something kind of irreal, don't you think so? For policy I understand things like: rights, freedoms, equality, opportunities, honesty, care of people and things like that. But man, nobody has it today! At least, noone who I already know. And this is something  that makes me really, really sad. And I know it's very difficult to fill all these things with good marks, but, honestly, everyone could do it much better. Our society has lost his values. Everyone is corrupted or selfish. We don't deserve it. And it's unfair, that if one or two men of the top do something wrong thinking about themselves, all the people, the normal people like you, me or our neighbors has to suffer and bear it! Haha I'm just reading all this again and maybe I seem a little bit revolucionary, but I'm not asking anyone to demonstrate or anything, just think. Think about it. But I'm sure almost all of you have at least once thought about it, and surely we all come to this same opinion. Well, I don't know what you feel guys, but I feel so impotent! Sometimes I just think: Ok, I'll study policy, I'll go to the top, I'll do everything as right as I can, but at least I would always pass the buck and be honest, people deserve it. And this way, I'd teach the other ones who didn't do it well. But, as my mother always sais, 'Mónica, you can't trust noone, nor yourself.' I didn't understand it before but I do now. And, as always, she's completely right. Flesh is weak, my friends. And you never know how much you can support. You have to be veeeeery stong, have an enormous faith in what you're doing and always keeping a ''cold head''.
In fact, lastly my posts are becoming lessons, but, anyway, go see the movie if you haven't do it yet!
It worths it! Hope I haven't bore you that much.

Be happy.-

PD: Check Paolo Nutini's songs, he reminds me a little bit to Jack Johnson or Jason Mraz, really relaxing(:

Twothousendeleven.

Well my friends, I know it's a little bit late, but HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE.
Not much more to say now...

well, yesterday I saw Robert Nolan's ''Inception'', it's very very good! I really enjoied it, and the end lets you with the doubt. For those ones who don't know what it is about, it's the kind of film (like Matrix or... dunno any other movie now) which deals with the eternal, unanswered phrase that appeared in the Romanticism:
Life is a dream.
Well, we'll never know if this is true or not, 'cause who knows that? and the more we think about it, the more we fall in the deep, black hole of ignorance.
In my opinion, (I don't wanna write a lot 'cause it's 23.05 in Madrid and I'm cooking a ''Roscón de Reyes'', typical spanish dessert, that we normaly cook at the beginning of january, with the three king's arrival, and I think it will turn up pretty good)

Well, coming back to the paradox...
What if, one day, we wake up in another body, with another family and another life?
What if everything was just a dream, or worse... what if we just are products of someones imagination?
Tragically, we'll never know that, 'cause we all are in the same boat.
Some people just say: Well, I don't care if we're just a dream, while we can be happy.
Yes, this is one view. But, in my opinion, we all care about this, even if we don't think about it often, 'cause it's something that concerns everyone! But we really don't wanna think and reflect about it 'cause this would only lead us to real anxiety and frustration of not having this situation under controll. That's why people prefers not to ask it to theirselfs.
But, as always, this is only my opinion. Everyone has to have his own thoughts too, and if somebody wants to share them with me, ALL OPINIONS WILL BE WELCOMED!

Well, and now, think about it, I have to go look the ''Roscón'' ;)
Be happy.-

PD: I didn't want to write a lot, but as you can see, things not always turn out like we expected.

X-mas^^

Well guys, looks like this will be the last entry OF THE YEAR! And I still not have Christmas-feeling at all!!!
Maybe because there's no trace of snow or Christmas-spirit here... don't like it >.<

And, for more, tomorrow I'm flyng to the ''Canarian Islands''.... at 6am. (part of the low-cost tickets)
Do you think I'm improving my Christmas-feeling there? With 25ºC??? The answer is NO, I'm not.
But I don't care that much. I'll pass a wonderful time with my family (and with the pleasent, nice philosophy homework-->sarcastic) and that's all what matters.

I'm not going to enclose any carols or anything in that line. Personally, I don't rally like carols as people do. Some of them make me really nervous, but I also can hear others.
What I can do is recomend a movie: Frank Capra's ''What a wonderful life''
If you like classics, you'll also like it (surely most of you have already seen it), but if not, do it!
Once I heard: If you cry at the end of this movie, you like Christmas, maybe you don't know it yet, but you do. Well, I don't remember if a cryied or not and if I see it again I probably will force myself to cry and that's definitely not fair play.

Well guys, there's not much more to say, and I don't have time either, have to pack!
My advice for the Hollidays: enjoy them as much as you can, try to relax and disconnect a little bit from the daily world. Do those things, for which you normally don't have time. Read, watch movies with your family, cook Christmas cookies and decorate cute. Send a lot of cards to the people you love and eat as much as you want. X-mas is once a year, so diet can wait! Love everyone like they deserve, and smile. Smile and laugh 'till your belly hurts.
And lastly, enjoy this time. The presents, the company, the meals, the flaming fireplace, the snow.... just this special atmosphere, that only exists in this time.

Be happy(:

Winter

 Winter
by Robert Louis Stevenson

Late lies the wintry sun a-bed,
A frosty, fiery sleepy-head;
Blinks but an hour or two; and then,
A blood-red orange, sets again.
Before the stars have left the skies,
At morning in the dark I rise;
And shivering in my nakedness,
By the cold candle, bathe and dress.
Close by the jolly fire I sit
To warm my frozen bones a bit;
Or with a reindeer-sled, explore
The colder countries round the door.
When to go out, my nurse doth wrap
Me in my comforter and cap;
The cold wind burns my face, and blows
Its frosty pepper up my nose.
Black are my steps on silver sod;
Thick blows my frosty breath abroad;
And tree and house, and hill and lake,
Are frosted like a wedding cake.

 So guys, the winter's around the corner!
Honestly, I don't have a Christmas-feeling yet! Nobody sings carols here and only a few houses are decorated.  I hope you do it! So, today I wrote my penultimate exam. One more and I'm done! Well, I'll try to congratulate everybody the next week, 'cause I go on wednesday! :D
Be happy^^

Pd:  Is NY, because I LOVE this city.

Sick.

I'm sick, my friends, so I lay the whole weekend (not completely true, 'cause I also could see the third Narnia moovie). Now I feel much better, but anyway, I'm sorry for not writting guys!
This week I'm having almost the last exams, so I hope after that I can write more often. :)
About Narnia, it was quite good, but, in my opinion, the last ones were better, I don't like the new kid!
My brother's stressing, I have to go!
But before going, one sentence of the song ''Love the way you lie Part II'', which here almost nobody knows, but is better than the first one!

And is sick that all these battles are what keeps me satisfied.

Makes you think, hmm? I'll copy the whole song if I have time, is really beautiful(:

Lomo

Hi to everybody again^^
Today, also in english! it's not fair, that people who live so far away see my blog but don't understand it! so, here you are, for you're entertaiment(; My english isn't perfect but at least you understand!

Today's entry will be about Lomo, Lomography. Does anybody knows what that means?
If not, I'll explain it now.

A few weeks ago, I was making my lunch ready while seeing the news. Suddenly, they began to talk about a new photography-exposition. I turned around and I saw them. Oh gosh those pics were awsome! I always play with my pics, a little bit of shadow here, another bit of intensity there... but those photos were just perfect! they didn't need anything more. And they had this something fantastical and special... I fell in love with them at first sight! so I decided to buy one of those cameras! And do you want to see how it looks like? just slow down!

Cool, hm?

 I was so excited when I got it... I came home and the first thing I did was searching for it in internet. And there's a whole community out there! I read the webpage from the top to the bottom and I'm in totally agreement with their philosophy and it made me realise some really interesting things! its too long for write it, so see it yourself! just look in www.lomography.com (not sure if it's the same page worldwide) but, try.

The other day I went to develop mi first film and the nice woman of the shop asked me if I was a veteran in all this Lomo-stuff, 'cause my photos were really good! She couldn't believe that  it was mi very first roll! So happy(:

Hope you like them! I have better ones, but I'm in them, and I'm not really ready yet to let the whole world see me. Sorry guys, but in this stuff I'm kind of distrustful :S
See you soon darlings!
